Vitrail

Créé à partir du patron « Terrasses du lac » de Magic Patch no 51.  J'ai retranché le dernier pourtour du patron pour confectionner une pièce un peu plus petite pour accomoder l'espace disponible sur mes murs.  La partie arrière composée d'hexagones a été entièrement montée à la main.  La partie vitrail (le flocon noir comme je me plaisais à l'appeler tout au long du montage) a également été appliqué à la main. Le piquage final en zigzag a été fait à la machine domestique avec du fil de nylon.		Made from the pattern « Terrasses du lac » of the Magic Patch no 51 magazine. I did not include the last row of the pattern to obtain a smaller piece to be hanged on my available wall space. The background is made of hexagons all hand sewn.  The stain glass portion, (I called it the black snowflake) was also appliqued by hand.  The final quilting was zigzagged by household sewing machine with nylon thread.
