L'échelle

Inspiré d'un modèle vu à l'émission de télévision Simply Quilt dans un style Mennonite. Le but est de faire un petit tapis pour mettre sous la chaufferette afin de protéger le plancher. Les couleurs ont été choisies afin de s'harmoniser avec le plancher en bois blanchi. Cette pièce a également été ma première expérience de piquage libre (motif méandre).		Inspired by a model seen at the Simply Quilt TV program in a Mennonite style.  The purpose of this place mat was to protect the floor under the portable heater.  Colors have been chosen to match with the wood floor.  This piece was my first attempt at free motion quilting (meander motif) on my domestic machine.
